Local families and individuals can access free tax preparation support through United Way of Norman's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
VITA offers no-cost tax help to residents who meet income eligibility guidelines. This saves them an average of about $200 in preparation fees and helps many access valuable tax credits.

How to Sign Up: Tax assistance is available by appointment only. We will begin booking appointments soon on United Way of Norman's website - unitedwaynorman.org/taxhelp
What to Bring:
Clients are asked to bring key documents such as a photo ID, wage and income statements (W-2s, 1099s), Social Security cards, insurance information, previous year’s returns (if available), and bank routing and account numbers for direct deposit.
